Find the Icelandic Yule lad´s troll mother (Gryla) hidden in her cave. The Forest Lagoon, located just outside of Akureyri, with an amazing view. The Geothermal pool opened in the summer of 2022. It includes a bistro, two infinity pools, swim-up bars, a cold tub and sauna. The pools contain natural geothermal water coming from inside the mountain behind the lagoon itself. The water is rich in good minerals that have healing powers.

We drive from Akureyri through the wonderful winter wonderland for 35 minutes to Godafoss the magnificent waterfall in it's winter clothing where we hike around the waterfalls for 40 minutes.
From Godafoss we drive back to Eyjafjordur where we drive in the fjord for 45 minutes before arriving at the Christmas house. Winter set's the stage for a magical visit to the Christmas House where we stay for 30 minutes.
We drive from the Cristmas house for 15 minutes to the Foreest lagoon. We soak in the marvelous geothermal lagoon with view's over the fjord for an good hour before heading back to Akureyri.
