On this tour, visit Stuðlagil Canyon from the renovated viewpoint at Grund, offering aerial views from safe platforms and trails. Next, journey to Hafrahvammagljúfur Canyon, Iceland's deepest gorge, known as Dimmugljúfur or "The Dark Canyon." Enjoy a soak in a natural hot spring surrounded by serene wilderness (Note: No facilities available). On the return, stop at the Hálslón reservoir and Kárahnjúkar dam to view Iceland's largest power plant, one of Europe's biggest.

Itinerary

When departured we will drive to Rjúkandi waterfall in Jökuldalur where our first stop will be. From there, the road leads to Stuðlagil, which is one of the most beautiful places in Iceland. We will stop there for about 1 hour, seeing the canyon from the west side on a designated viewing platform.

After enjoying the magnificent beauty of Stuðlagil that leaves no one untouched, we continue into the highlands to Hafrahvammagljúfur where we also stop and see the grandeur, 200 m. deep gorge.

Along the way, we visit a hidden gem where guests can soak in a natural hot spring, surrounded by serene wilderness.
