We have planned several stops along the way, and we can make as many extra stops as you want. We will explore the unique landscape, visit beaches ranked as the most beautiful in the world and have a closer look at the small fishing villages where you find the traditional red and yellow wooden fisherman’s cabins. You will have the chance to taste some local food and your guide will tell you about the history of Lofoten and how people now live their lives in this arctic part of the world. Hopefully, we also get to see some wildlife during our drive.

Private Tour
This beach is ranged by Lonely Planet as the best beach in Europe in 2024, and I will show you why. Hauklandstranda is surrounded by dramatic mountains and it offers a breathtaking panoramic view. The beach is know for its white sand and crystal- clear turquoise waters. It is also an excellent spot for hiking.
Let´s stop by the locals! In Lofoten, ever since The Viking Age people have been dependent on the ocean. Lately, a new generation is looking for a more sustainable way of living where they are harvesting seaweed from the ocean. Learn more about seaweed when we visit a local company called Lofoten Seaweed.
Nusfjord is one of the oldest and best- preserved fishing villages in Lofoten. Here you can find the traditional red and yellow wooden fisherman´s cabin, called rorbu. Visitors can explore the historic buildings and enjoy fresh seafood in this small village. Nusfjord has an entrance fee (100 NOK) that is not included.
We continue with a quick stop at Ramberg, a small village with less than 300 residents, next to a long white beach. Maybe you have seen photos of the old red boathouse on this beach?
We save the best for last. If you ask me, Reine is the most beautiful and picturesque place in Lofoten. We will stop at Reine and have a look at the dramatic peaks, crystal clear water and charming small wooden houses. If you like, we can also stop here for some lunch (not included).
