We will visit Senate Square, from where we will be able to see 3 emblematic tourist attractions in Helsinki, and understand how Finland came to be controlled by the Russian Empire.

We will walk along Aleksanterinkatu, a very important street in Helsinki, viewing points of interest until we reach Keskuskatu.

We will arrive at Praça da Train Station, from where we will have a privileged view of other historic buildings in the city, and we will learn about the statue and the life of one of the most famous Finns in the world.

We will enter the Central Station, and cross it to the opposite side, seeing what it is like inside, understanding its history, architecture, numbers, and curiosities.

We will arrive at Livraria Oodi, the most unusual bookstore you will ever visit. We will visit its 3 floors and understand the culture of education in Finland, which is a reference throughout the world, and the reason why Oodi is so spectacular.

Next to Oodi is Citizen's Square, which has the best view of the Parliament and from where we can see the Casa da Música, the Opera House, the contemporary art museum, and understand what they are.

We will walk along the city's main avenue, viewing tourist attractions and emblematic places in the city.

We will pass by the Swedish Theater, understanding its role in the history of Helsinki.

We will cross Esplanada Park, the most beloved park among Helsinki residents. We will understand other aspects of Finnish history, culture and traditions as we cruise through the park.

We will arrive at the Old Market, where we will have a sample of Finnish cuisine, with the possibility of tasting charcuterie and game meat, and learn about the food culture of a country where winter and frozen ground are predominant.

We will return to Market Square, where we will stroll among the street food and souvenir stalls, and where we will end our tour. You can stay here and do a little shopping, go back to the Old Market (which is next door) for a meal, or try the food at the stalls, which are delicious!
