Copenhagen is more than the capital of cosy hygge, it's also a vibrant city of trade and innovation with lots of space for work/life balance, soft urban design and a welfare state that aids every dane from cradle to grave. Follow in the footsteps of Hans Christian Andersen, whose dream nearly failed before it started, and find out if his own life really was a fairy tale and see where he lived. I've been a tour guide for ten years working for tourism companies. Now I also work independently.

We meet at the top of stairs at Gammel Strand metro station. I am 193 cm tall with blond hair.

This beautiful canal was once the home to sailors and shippers and a autor called Hans Christian Andersen. Now it's popular with tourists and weekenders.
The home to King Frederik and Queen Mary and the centerpiece of the beautiful monumental axis between Opera and Marble Church. We will make a short stop without going in.
The epicenter for Danish goverment power, the Parliament, Prime Ministers office and Supreme Court - all in one building and open to everyone. We will make a short stop without going in.
Copenhagen Cathedral, destoyed 1807 by British Admiral Nelson in the worlds largest civilian terror bombardment. with hundreds of dead civilians - and complete loss of the danish navy.
A romantic palace from 1634 built as the king's summer house - now home to the Royal Jewels. We will walk past the palace throught the Royal Garden. We will make a short stop without going in.
We will walk past the Copenhagen Synagogue, center for the safe evacuation of the Danish Jews to Sweden during Second World war. We will make a short stop without going in.
The Round Tower is a astronomical observatory from 1642 once visited by russian czar Peter the Great who went to the top of the tower riding on a horse. We wil make a short stop without entering.
Kongens Nytorv is a busy center of Copenhagen surrounded by small palaces.
Rådhuspladsen is the busy center of Copenhagen with the beautiful Town Hall from 1905 and a statue of a lonely fairy tale writer, Hans Christian Andersen.
Rainbow Square is a tribute to LGBT's everywhere and commemorates the world's first same-sex marrige that happened 1989 in Copenhagen.
